P5P *Activated Vit.B6 (Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate) - the catalyst that resets the liver's biotransformation function
The beneficial microbes in the hindgut biome provide essential services for the horse; they ferment the fibre from the grass forage fibre, and produce vital nutrients (metabolites/postbiotics) that the horse needs to thrive, that can't be found in food.
These include a vital B-vitamin - B6 - in a specific 'activated' form that the gut nutrient-absorbing receptors recognise, and the liver knows what to do with, and can then be directly utilised by the body immediately.
